There were significant vacancies in Albert Lea. It was a nice setting located near several lakes and has a great park system.
Some buildings were condemned for a structural reason, and that entire mini-block was vacant. There were not a lot of closed businesses with inventory. Most of the buildings were vacant.
The Marion Ross Center for the Performing Arts is located in Albert Lea. They were advertising a show in late July, which indicated they were ready to get up and running. But unfortunately, the virus impacted towns with a performance venue as an anchor.
