Down the road, the next town was Alpine. This town had a real downtown with a lot of art. They had an arts alley, and there were murals in many of the areas in town. They had some serious vacancies, but it appears the town was doing okay. These places are so isolated it is hard to lose your following
I met a guy that had a Jesus Saves sign Woodrow Pickett, and we spoke a little bit about Jesus. Being Catholic, I talked about the blessed trinity. He was quite knowledgeable concerning the bible. I am not that good with the bible, but we communicated, and I felt uplifted after. He did not brand me a sinner, and I liked that.
