Butte was interesting.

The buildings in the downtown were well preserved and had great architectural detail. There was an authentic look that defined the place I was visiting. At the end of one of the roads downtown, there was an oil rig. That was a new one for me with an oil rig defining the space.

Although it did not appear that the virus caused the Hennessey Building vacancy, the resale or releasing of the property will stand paramount in the town's rebound. At one point, they had 30-minute parking because they wanted to turn over the parking spaces at the market, and now no one wants to park that far away from the rest of the town. It was a bygone practice.

The town had wide streets and was a little bit too wide open but, in a way, it went with the town well. There were a lot of vacancies. There was a vacant film festival storefront, and I checked to see if it would rebound after the 2020 virtual film festival, and it appeared to be a casualty of the virus.
