Many of the stores were open downtown. There were some large vacancies, but I thought the town was doing well during the lockdown.

There were some significant murals and good use of neon which gave the town good feel. Some facades had been destroyed by metal facing, but most of the historic building inventory was intact.

They also had a significant war memorial in a park and a Gazebo that people could not visit because it was locked. There were people I spoke to at the gazebo that was nice but were waiting around with their suitcases.

There was sculpture in the park concerning the history of the town near the war memorial.
