I stayed close to Coeur d’Alene, toured the town, and had dinner. I was able to dine in, and there were few people with masks. There was a good arts strategy the downtown. There were sculpture, murals, and green space that was very well done.

I parked on the edge of town and did a huge loop. There is an area next to the water with great water-related activities and passive recreation with grass and sculpture, including a large dice installation.

A sign Sherman Square Park brought concerns to my mind concerning the potential to limit civil liberties. The sign said, “Welcome, this park is PRIVATE PROPERTY permission to use revocable at any time.” So, there were limitations on what would define a good time.

There were some vacant, but all in all, the town was vibrant.
