The final five projects are my projects I was in town in 1986

DuBois was a different kind of project. A housing group bought the area in the middle of town at one point. Then, a senior high rise was built with 100-foot side setbacks from the next building. This development created a non-transition zone. It cut the town in two and acted as a tombstone on the downtown. The town never really recovered.

The town is in pretty bad shape with many vacancies, and there are not that many storefronts. In addition, many of the institutional buildings are gone. However, the train station was restored, and it looked to be in good shape.
