There is a strong graffiti alley in Rapid City. The scope and the volume of the new art are impressive. It looks like there is an ever-changing array of art, some covering the existing and some adding comments or somehow incorporating something into the existing art.

Nearby buildings have signs that announce it is not part of "Art Alley", but all that was partially painted over as the need for space outweighs the owner's desires.

There is a nice clustering of presidential statues located in the town and a very nice one of Herbert Hoover and silent Cal.

There were some significant vacancies downtown. This town looked to be hit a little harder than some others in the area. As a town next to a large international recognized memorial, I am sure the virus-related traffic was a lot less than normal.

They have standard-issue cobra head lighting, and their overhead electric lines run perpendicular to the street. The neon on "Who's Toy House" adds to the town's ambiance.
