My visit to Seattle was split into two days. I spent the night in Seattle and then went over to Bainbridge Island by ferry to visit a friend.

The first day I surveyed the downtown, and there were a lot of vacants. So, when I returned, and visited Seattle the second day I went to the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) and the arts area near the ferry.

The town had campers in some areas, which deterred store openings. Although much of the town was closed, the public market was crowded.

I visited the park with the Space Needle Park area, and it was impressive. The Museum of Popular Culture is located close by and has a number of attractions. I am sure you could spend a day there and not see all the attractions.

There was a good amount of construction of new buildings, and it looked to be thriving with all of the building expansion downtowns. However, ground-floor retail told a different story as much of the town was vacant.

The CHAZ was pretty much back to normal when I got there. I spoke to a lady who told me there was a cleanup effort the week before I got to the CHAZ. They had some nice neon signs in the former CHAZ.
