Spokane had vacancies, some that were clustered, entire sections of walkways near the vacant clusters were blocked off, altering the places people could walk. There were few people on the street, but some people were walking in the park near the fountain. Not a lot of people wearing masks.
I did see some public art defaced in Spokane. There were a lot of murals and public art in this town. Some of the old advertising murals were still on the buildings. There was a lot of open space where it looked like there had been urban renewal.
I was not particularly impressed with Spokane because of the wide-open feel of the town. There was almost too much open space in areas like missing teeth in a big smile. It was well maintained.
