The is was a great town. I saw the historic district sign and stopped to visit. They have a great inventory of historic buildings as well some tourist attractions. People were friendly even though there were not many on the street.
No one that I saw was wearing a mask.
This town has a great sense of place, and I am sure that it is a good place to visit with a plethora of shops and food and beverage options. There is a cottage hospitality industry that spans from the day when there were a lot of silver miners visiting the town. The “Lux” has been restored, and the Oasis has rooms available. The Wallace Corner Hotel is near the center of town and would allow the visitor to stay in town for the nightlife.
The Center of the Universe is located in Wallace.
